Corporate Accountant - Reporting

Responsibilities Include
KBW Financial has partnered with a global, publicly-traded life sciences company to identify a Corporate Accountant with public accounting experience to join their growing team. This newly created position will be responsible for SEC reporting, GAAP matters and supporting various areas of accounting operations including month-end close and internal controls. There is tremendous growth potential into various areas of Accounting & Finance within this team.

• Provide technical accounting support to ensure GAAP compliance
• Assist FP&A team with budgets and long-range planning objectives
• Consolidation of financial data from multiple business segments in various locations
• Prepare quarterly and yearly financial statements
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and yearly close support
• Support the preparations of company SEC filings (10K / 10Q)
• Ensure compliance with SOX and SEC guidelines

Qualifications

• Familiarity with SEC filings, US GAAP and SOX internal controls
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Public Accounting and/or CPA is highly preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 2+ years of accounting experience
