Title

Project Resourcing Coordinator

Reports to

Project Manager – Product Resourcing

Overview

Provide functional support of strategic second sourcing initiatives by ensuring the successful qualification of alternate suppliers to manufacture existing DY products for the purpose of increased production flexibility within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Create Product Resourcing vendor project kits and ensure suppliers are meeting the target project completion dates
• Maintain Product Resourcing dashboards for top-line reporting for Project Manager – Product Resourcing.
• Assist with the “Turn over to Production Process”
• Assist with receiving, logging and archiving Product Resourcing samples
• Daily communication with vendors on all open projects.
• Prep vendor samples for Quality Assurance review and assist with sample review notes when needed
• Assist in maintaining systems (PLM & Oracle)
• Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, CAD, Quality Assurance, Product Development, Costing) to establish priority alignment and ensure business requirements are met with due diligence, and in a consistent and timely manner.
• Maintain Product Resourcing inventory location
• Support additional Product Resourcing related initiatives as needed
• Make productive contributions through talent, knowledge, skill, and good work habits.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office computer skills (specifically Word, Excel, and SAP)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Strong communication (English written and verbal) skills
• Demonstrates attention to detail
• Experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) & Oracle software a plus
• Proven ability to work independently within a minimally supervised, fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop a plus
• General knowledge of modern jewelry manufacturing techniques i.e., investment casting, CNC milling and stamping techniques. Rapid Prototyping and precious metal metallurgy are a plus.

Education

• 4-year degree or 1-3+ years’ experience
