Job Description
The ATP Tour, Inc. is the governing body of the men's professional tennis circuits - the ATP Tour, the ATP Challenger Tour and the ATP Champions Tour. With 64 tournaments in 31 countries, the ATP Tour showcases the finest male athletes competing in the world’s most exciting venues. The purpose of the ATP is to own, sanction, schedule and administer one or more circuits of professional tennis tournaments; to own one or more professional tennis tournaments; to develop, promulgate, and administer rules, regulations and grievance procedures to ensure the fair and orderly conduct of professional tennis tournaments and circuits thereof and the sport of professional tennis; to promote and further the interest of professional tennis players and professional tennis tournaments and circuits thereof throughout the world; to promote the interest of one or more public charities; to improve the conditions under which professional tennis players engage in their occupation; to increase the status and public perception of professional tennis as a major world class international sport; to promote and protect the future of the sport of professional tennis; and to encourage interest in the sport of tennis.

The Coordinator, Player Relations is a member of the Player Relations department. This position maintains and supports various functions and systems required to operate the services to professional tennis players. This position is responsible for the day to day maintenance and the ATP PlayerZone and supports all aspects of the membership management. This position is also part of the entries team supporting players on a daily basis. This position receives its business direction from Player Relations and works closely with Tour Services. .
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare periodic reports and manual that include but are not limited to membership, entries, platforms, and player programs.
  • Work collaboratively with the office-based staff, traveling team and technical staff to continually enhance services and benefits to members through improved human processes and technology.
  • Provide third-level support to business users.
  • Maintenance of membership databases including Players, Alumni and Coaches
  • Assist in research projects as needed by various departments and ATP management
  • Responsible for central support e-mail system to members and players including day to day management, reporting and documenting upgrading requirements
  • Assist in the weekly player tournament entry process with the entries team
  • Assist in data entry and records management from professional tennis tournaments worldwide.
  • Work closely with end users and document business needs of all member platforms and databases.
  • Focus on fine tune integrations between ATP applications and third-party player websites.
  • Assist in the production and process update of the ATP Rankings and related systems
  • Centralize the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates of changes, enhancements, and new functionality.
  • Responsible for editorial and day to day maintenance of member platforms including PlayerZone and related systems.

Required Skills and Attributes
  • University degree in Business management or a related field
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Strong communications and organizational skills with attention to detail

Preferred Competency Requirements
• Exposure to Content Management Systems
  • Exposure to Project Management collaboration platforms
  • Tennis knowledge
  • Second language- Spanish preferred

  • Satisfactory Review from direct Supervisor and SVP, Player Relations
  • Consistent positive rating from members and players
  • Quality support of Member platforms and related applications

This position is based in Europe and requires minimal travel.
