Primary Purpose:

The ideal candidate would follow the lifecycle of bulk materials from their reservation to disposition.

Focus on materials planning, reservations to allocations, Material Liability, credit notes/invoices, and reporting analysis.


The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Materials Planning to...

  • Manage textile material liability utilization and consumption.
  • Review and provide feedback for PRN (Product Change Request) and DCR (Demand Change Request) inquiries.
  • Execute textile allocation strategy through analysis to balance demand, book materials, and direct WTB (Where To Buy) to vendors.
  • Identify and communicate long lead time materials.
  • Support Manager with overseeing key milestones.
  • Support with special projects and chases.
  • Manage material liability payments (invoices) and credit notes.
  • Support with PBM (Prebooked Materials) analysis and reservations.
  • Work in close partnership with internal teams, including Materials Sourcing, Product Development, and Finance, and external suppliers/vendors.
  • Manage the preparation of materials demand report for plan balancing.
  • Perform data analysis and reporting with strong excel skills.
  • Review textile costing on a monthly basis.

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • Solution-oriented creative thinker.
  • 1 or more years of experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably in handbag, footwear, or consumer products industries..
  • Strong attention to detail, data modeling, and analytical skills.
  • High proficiency in Excel (vlookups, advanced formulations, pivot tables) preferred; EcVision experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communicator who can present complex problems in simple terms.
