FULL TIME HOURLY POSITION
We are actively seeking a full-time position,Coordinator Marketing & Communications,to join our team of motivated colleagues who take great pride in supporting one another as we promote and sell the Beverly Hills brand.
Position Profile
The Coordinator Marketing & Communications, reporting to the Vice President Marketing and Senior Director Communications, will assist with day-to-day activities for digital marketing and public relations efforts, as assigned, including social media and email communications, drafting content for BHCVB website and assisting with Visitor Center and partner relations, as needed. He or she must be organized, take initiative and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable interacting with clients, local businesses, co-workers and the public.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
·On an ongoing basis, pro-actively seek information such as new business openings, local business updates (new programs, menus, chefs, collections, pop-ups) and activities available to visitors. Inform BHCVB team of ongoing findings
·Under VP Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager direction, create content for social media posts, stories and reels
·When needed, attend partner events to secure original content for BHCVB social media platforms
·Assist in copy writing and uploading website content; select content will also be promoted and amplified through social media channels and monthly eNewsletters for various consumer and B2B audiences, including Visitors, Partner, Media and Travel Trade
Communications
·Assist with the coordination of Public Relations requests such as information for upcoming articles, media familiarization (FAM) itineraries and/or media rates for upcoming FAM trips
·Maintain a tracker for FAMs, recording participating partners and their contributions
·Assist in planning and executing PR and Social Media campaigns
Collateral
·Maintain collateral, premiums and press kit materials
·Assist VP, Marketing with updating BHCVB collateral materials
Visitor Services
·Act as Visitor Center concierge when needed, greeting visitors and guests, managing retail sales and maintaining the order and appearance of all Visitor Center collateral
·Assist with planning and production of small to large-scale BHCVB events
Qualifications/Requirements
·A BA degree in Marketing or Communications a plus, but not required
·One to three years related marketing/public relations experience
·Proven social media skills (personal or professional) with posts, video and editing
·Strong verbal and written communication skills
·Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
·Excellent time management and organization skills
·Flexibility and attention to detail a must
·Knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
·Basic Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator experience a plus
