Cook - Full-Time Various Shifts Available

Shift is 11 am to 7 pm At Cedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what “Celebrating Life Every Day!” means to our residents and their families, then we help them achieve these goals. Our Line/Prep Cooks are accountable for providing a "restaurant style" experience for our residents by doing the following: Responsibilities:

• Flexible/Dependent Care Spending Accounts
• Keeps cooking stations stocked, uses a batch cooking method for all food items with documented time/temperature logs.
• Is willing and able to assist with daily lineup meetings.
• Follows recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications as set by the executive chef.

• Assists with washing pots and pans along with dishwasher on other projects.
• Professional communication skills including verbal and listening skills.
• Must be self-motivated, organized and able to problem solve. Benefits:

• Minimum of 2-3 years previous cook experience or 3 years of prep cook experience.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
