Position Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will collaborate with The Assurance Group’s (TAG) executive team to deliver measurable, accountable and cost-effective results that further enhance the growth and profitability of the organization.The COO will have bottom line responsibility for leading assigned operational and administrative segments of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate any communication necessary between TAG executive staff, IMG’s legal representatives, or any outside counsel engaged by TAG related to legal issues that may arise from time-to-time.
  • Responsible for oversight and coordination of all human resource functions ensuring compliance with Integrity Marketing Group’s (IMG) policies and procedures as well as applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Consistently appraise and evaluate certain internal operational and administrative systems to ensure TAG is operating at maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement effective tools to improve operational efficiency and control costs.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the President from time-to-time.
  • Negotiate new and renewing leases for all TAG field sales offices as well as facilitating the opening of new offices in conjunction with TAG sales management.
  • Oversight and responsibility for TAG’s physical facilities including the home office and Sunrise Building to include maintenance, security, code compliance and alterations/remodeling.
  • Oversight and responsibility for TAG’s information technology platform while ensuring compliance with IMG’s information technology policies and procedures as well as ensuring maximum flexibility and effectiveness with regard to TAG’s career agent platform and Leads2Success requirements.
Mininum Qualifications
  • High level business acumen understanding of budgets, financial statements, reports and strategic planning.
  • Ability to initiate and deliver programs against the reality of potential budget constraints.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, distribution partners and IMG staff.
  • Five (5) or more years experience in management with budgetary experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degree preferred but not required.
