CONVEYOR SERVICE TECHNICIANS - MECHANICAL FITTER & BMW
Promet provides sales, installation, and service of conveyors and accessories such as Scrapers, Trackers, Impact Beds and Guarding to the West Australian mining & port industry.
We are growing and require an additional service technician to work with our team. If you are interested in working for a Perth-based company in a service role, fly in or drive in across the state to multiple sites. Please send your resume by return email. Our work is conveyor based and usually 3 to 5 days on sites, incorporated into client shutdowns, anywhere from the Pilbara to Kalgoorlie to Esperance.
This is a full-time salaried position.
What We Would Like
Trade qualifications - Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker/Fabrication
Previous experience with conveyor maintenance
High-Risk Work Licences are highly regarded, such as LF, WP, DG, and RA - highly regarded. Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications – highly regarded.
Previous experience on mine sites - highly regarded.
A commitment to safety and a strong work ethic
What Requirements You Would Need
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screens.
National Police Clearance – valid within three (3) months or willing to obtain one. Basic level of computer literacy.
Current Western Australian “C” class drivers’ licence.
Proof of vaccination (mandated for site requirements)
