Controller - Vc Backed Saas

In-Office Reqs: This role is based in Austin, Texas on a hybrid basis. Flexible arrangement looking to go in 3 days a week.

Compensation Range: 150k - 185k + equity. No formal bonus structure [yet].

Highlighted Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting team of 3, review their work, coach and develop them
• Own financial statements and management reporting
• Drive accounting operations efficiencies
• Partner with CEO and executive team to make financial decisions critical to the company
• Will help identify, develop and implement stronger processes to scale
• Own all things accounting: month end close, revenue recognition and reviewing contracts, oversee AR and AP, provide accounting guidance, assess business decisions’ impact on accounting, etc.

Who we are looking for:

• Must be excited to work at a start up and pitch in for team projects
• Inventory accounting experience preferred
• Experience in public accounting/Big4 AND corporate accounting with a high growth company
• SaaS experience required
• CPA required
