We’re seeking an experienced accountant to partner with the CFO to oversee all aspects of the

accounting department. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience, an ability to

mentor and train a team and strong audit experience. As a financial leader in our organization,

you will make it your mission to establish proper controls and processes, enhance the financial

reporting process and lead our annual financial audit. The senior management team will rely

on the Controller to produce thorough financial reports and provide operational insight to

improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued explosive growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

 Develop, implement and maintain financial controls and guidelines.

 Assist in the development of proper inventory controls.

 Provide ongoing evaluation of accounting system and all supporting systems as we

grow, including leading accounting system implementation when necessary.

 Lead the annual financial audit including preparation of necessary management memos

related to accounting policies.

 In conjunction with the CFO, establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets and

reporting standards.

 Ensure use tax reporting / compliance requirements across all states.

 Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets,

policies, procedures, and workflow.

 Oversee insurance compliance across the company, ensure workers comp audits are

properly completed.

 Ensure all Balance Sheet accounts are properly reconciled monthly / and ensure CRM

and ERP system reports are properly aligned.

 Support payroll department with all state tax notices / payroll tax notices.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

 CPA preferred.

 10+ years proven accounting experience including significant time in a senior role.


 Experience/ability to hire, train and retain top accounting talent.

 Working knowledge of state sales tax regulations.

 Desire to work in a dynamic environment and partner with Senior Management to

continue our rapid growth.
