Mt. Olive Pickle Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for Controller. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. This role reports into the Executive VP of Finance and works alongside our executive leadership team, directors, managers, supervisors and accounting staff.

Job Summary:

• Responsibilities may include but not be limited to: Inventory Costing, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Daily Reporting, Business Analysis and Audit Liaison
• Finance leader
• Manage all Accounting and Finance functions

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages external and internal audits acting as immediate contact
• Manages Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Departments
• Leads the monthly closing, financial reporting and analysis
• Assesses current accounting operations and transactional processes in the software systems to ensure transactions are accurate and timely. Offers recommendations for improvement and implements new processes
• Leads the forecasting and budget processes
• Assists with the appraisal and review of operating results in terms of costs, budgets, policies of operations, trends and increased profit opportunities
• Oversees and prepares internal and external reporting for monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages

Qualifications:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and influence processes across multiple functions and stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to thoroughly understand a business's strategy and determine linkages to financial initiatives and drivers
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Accounting and Cost Accounting required
• Large or mid-sized corporate accounting experience working in a manufacturing company preferred
• Master's degree in accounting, finance, related field or equivalent experience required. CPA preferred
• Highly computer proficient, including advanced capabilities with Excel
• Must be able to speak, read and write in English
