Our client in Peachtree City is hiring for the role of Controller. Company was recently acquired and looking to bring someone in to lead the team and implement a new software. Great work life balance and culture with an ideal location for people who live on the south side of the city.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall accounting of the organization. Oversee the monthly close process, including consolidations, in accordance with GAAP.

• Supervises all accounting functions and staff of three

• Makes recommendations to senior management with respect to procedural improvements and system upgrades/improvements. Serves as liaison with IT to implement.

• Evaluate monthly close procedures with Controller and make recommendations on improving and streamlining processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in accounting

• Public accounting experience and CPA preferred

• Working knowledge of NetSuite a plus

• Proficiency in MS Excel

• Solid understanding of GAAP
