Controller (Ft) Jobs

We are looking for a professional with a big-picture mindset and the ability to dig into the details and develop creative solutions. We recently brought the accounting function in-house, and your initial tasks will include ensuring we have appropriate processes and controls in place. We welcome your thoughts and input that will help drive appropriate changes as we are a mental health provider and a for-profit company.
Our operations involve multiple entities, including several treatment centers, corporate shared services, a small medical group and real estate companies. The many transactions among the various entities can be intricate so we'll also look to you to recommend tools and technologies, such as document management systems and ERP systems to help streamline operations.
In this role you will: Help shape a role newly created to provide strategic leadership as we grow (to be clear, there also will be hands-on work). Make your mark by developing and implementing new systems, processes and controls.

The salary for this role is between $175K and $200K, depending on experience.
To be a good fit for the Controller opportunity, you will have: A bachelor's degree in Accounting; a CPA is a plus
10 to 15 years of accounting and finance operations experience, including: general ledger invoicing accounts payable accounts receivable
Supporting multiple sites that operate independently Serving as a business partner to managers and executives Developing, implementing and streamlining processes and controls Experience managing accounting teams or departments A methodical approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead others during change Resourcefulness and the ability to achieve goals as a team or independently
