Job Description
A recognized healthcare organization in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced Accounting / Finance professional to join their staff as their new Controller / CFO. In this role, the Controller / CFO will be responsible for oversee the activities of the HM accounting department to ensure accurate and timely preparation and dissemination of financial management reports.


  • This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite a few days a week.***


Responsibilities


The Controller / CFO will:


  • Comply with corporate income tax requirements and ensure accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns
  • Oversee accounts receivable activities to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components
  • Monitor all balance sheet accounts, including fixed assets, ensuring timely reconciliation, and accuracy and appropriateness of all balances at each closing
  • Respond to CFO requests as assigned, promptly and accurately, to meet the companys financial needs
  • Perform other duties, as needed
  • Manage quarterly accounting closes and ensure reporting is accurate and meets all reporting deadlines
  • Integrate receivables information, billings, customer payment trends and disbursement need into weekly cash forecasting, monitoring performance and adjusting inputs as needed to ensure accuracy
  • Maintain systems and controls and implement new processes to verify integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, employee expense reports, payroll processing, and sales commissions
  • Lead the annual audit process with outside CPA firm
Qualifications:


  • Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Experience in a Leadership and/or Management role
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite by Oracle ERP
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organized
  • 10+ years of hands-on Accounting experience
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
Desired Skills:


  • Experience in a Private Equity setting
  • CPA certification
