Job details

• Researches different equipment and material options as necessary to accomplish goals and targets of improvement projects.
• Owns and drives assigned Daily Management systems assessment plan.
• Works with the local/corporate Engineering team on capital plan execution, planning and engaging correct operations resources to minimize or enhance project impact to daily operations for both long term and short term capital projects.
• Effectively coordinates LEAN, CI/ Focused Improvement work for all appropriate plant personnel, team members, contractors, and vendors required to provide timely completion of improvement initiatives as structured through
• Leverages appropriate CI/Lean tools for necessary data to support success criteria development.
• Trains other team members on proper Focused Improvement tool utilization and execution.
• Conducts feasibility studies, determines loss/cost estimates, and develops success criteria for targeted improvement project work.

Qualifications:

• HIghly promotable, track record of results, and promotion in career history
• Exoerience in a progressive, automated plant processing/manufacturing environment
• Experience working for a Fortune 500 and highly progressive CPG/Chemical or related manufacturing company.
• 3-8+ years of CI Management experience within a Chemical, CPG or Food manufacturing plant
• Excellent communication and leadership, Strong interpersonal skills.
• Bachelors Degree/ prefer engineering degree
• Prefer TPM experience -- plant level implementation/ Lean/six sigma
• Plant transformation experience / culture change preferred
• Accomplishments and projects that are measurable, and specific in which there were significant improvements / cost savings/ improved processes and systems, bottom line projects that have made an impact
