CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT MANAGER


We are looking for an exceptional Program Manager, Communicator, and Organizer with demonstrated project management and coordination skills.


Through a Matrix Organization, You Lead Local Safety, OpEx, Quality, And Customer Satisfaction Professionals At Each Of The Nuclear Division’s Facilities, Delivering Improvements Across All Key Performance Indicators In The Following Functional Areas


Reporting to Nuclear Division VP/GM, the Continuous Improvement Manager (CIM) is an active member of the Nuclear Division leadership team and plays an critical role in achieving operations excellence. You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement programs across the organization by focusing on Safety, Operations, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction.


  • Operational Excellence and Customer Satisfaction: As the Nuclear Division Operations Excellence Sponsor , you will work with the local facility OpEx leads, to ensure each facility is delivering on margin improvement projects and drives continuous improvement using the Curtiss-Wright Operational Growth Platform; a company-wide, multi-faceted, performance improvement system.
  • Environmental, Health & Safety: As the Nuclear Division Safety Officer, you will work with the CW Sr. Corporate Director, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and local facility safety leads, to ensure all facilities maintain healthy safety and environmental regulatory compliant (OSHA, EPA, CCOHS, etc.) programs and drive implementation of the Curtiss-Wright Environmental Health & Safety Management System.


Candidate Characteristics


To ensure success in this role, you should be a skilled communicator and be adept at business analysis and project coordination/implementation. You should possess the ability to lead in a collaborative environment, build consensus and commitment among matrixed team members.


  • A graduate degree in business or MBA would be beneficial.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification.
  • An excellent communicator with top-notch presentation skills.
  • A thorough understanding of the latest process enhancement strategies.
  • Proven experience in project/program management
  • Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • A sharp eye for identifying weak points in processes and organizational structures.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Five years' experience in process optimization, operations, or business automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, process management or operations
