At our Duncan, SC location, we are searching for an
(Continuous Improvement)
Industrial Engineer/ Kaizen Specialist
The Specialist Kaizen Plant coordinates/executes the Kaizen activities within the Plant together with the concerned site managers and the assigned employees. S/he focuses on cost, safety, delivery, quality and morale dimensions with a continuous improvement approach supported by Lean and Manufacturing Excellence methods. His/her deliverables include coordinating and supporting the successful implementation of continuous improvement activities aimed to improve plant reliability, productivity and efficiency.
Where we need you
- Coordinate and execute plant specific 1OX related continuous improvement projects following the corporate 1OX implementation road map
- Proactively support timely and successful implementation of identified improvement actions/projects. Escalate issues timely if required to plant manager and functional supervisor.
- Track potentials and savings of actions/projects supporting the achievement of expected and planned results
- Cascade and deliver trainings about opex methods acting as Trainer according to training strategy
- Act as key contact for regional Opex Leaders
How to convince us
Work experience requirements:
- 2 or more years of Change Management Experience
- 1 or more years of experience in the international context
- 3 or more years of Lean Management
- 3 or more years of experience in the Automotive industry/ manufacturing industry
- 3 or more years of Kaizen Experience
Education Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering or a similar field preferred, or equivalent years of experience
