Job Description

This is a grant funded position for a period of 1 year. This position is responsible for coordinating with Reentry Case Managers, Peer Support Staff and Program Staff. This position assists collecting and reporting monthly statistics, maintain client lists, and supporting Reentry Case Managers, Peer Support Staff and Program Staff. The focus of this position is tracking facility programs, inmate participation and completion of programs. This position provides support to both internal and external program volunteers while maintaining accurate records of program completion.

***This is a 35-hour work week position***

STARTING SALARY IS $22.00 PER HOUR

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

  • Assists with administrative tasks with programs, reentry and peers.
  • Works and cooperates with coworkers and supervisors at all levels.
  • Learns and performs all essential job functions accurately.
  • Assists with community outreach.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining and updating records monthly.
  • Collects and maintains grant reporting measures.
  • Maintains a monthly calendar of schedules, programs, client transportation and other events.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
  • Attends trainings as directed by supervisor.
  • Maintains monthly program statistics.
  • Attends meetings and takes minutes.
  • Uploads documents into ACTS system and generates monthly reports.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree and one (1) year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to work independently with broad guidance and to carry out continuing assignments requiring the organization of material and the preparation of reports.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, community organizations, government officials and to communicate effectively with people from a broad range of backgrounds.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, HMIS, and other technology.

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situation.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as federal regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
