Content Specialist Jobs

Nova Creative is seeking a creative storyteller to serve as a Content Specialist for our clients. Reporting to the Associate Content Director, the Content Specialist will produce polished and engaging content to connect with our clients’ target audiences and support their business goals. Areas of focus will be implementation of strategies for digital ads, social media, copywriting, and reporting.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a very fast paced environment and attention to detail is a must. Multi-tasking, taking initiative, being extremely organized and detail oriented, having great communication skills and an affable demeanor are key characteristics to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities

• Research industry-related topics.
• Identify clients’ needs and recommend new topics.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Interview subject matter experts to produce content.
• Coordinate with designers for visual content.
• Edit and proofread written pieces before publication.
• Create and maintain digital ad campaigns.
• Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
• Create and distribute marketing copy to promote Nova’s clients.
• Measure success of content, social media, and digital advertising efforts.
• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement.
• Prepare content using digital word processing and publishing platforms.

Qualifications

• Photography and Video skills a plus.
• Excellent writing, editing, and fact-checking skills.
• Hands-on experience in Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
• Proven experience as a content creator, copywriter, or similar role.
• Valid driver license, state mandated auto insurance, and a clear driving record required.
• Experience creating and managing digital ad campaigns (e.g. Google Ads).
• Portfolio of published articles or other long form content.
