About The Role

This position offers great potential for growth, so we are looking for a strong strategic communicator with a desire to manage and build a results driven content strategy.

As Content and Communications Associate, you will report to the CMO of Start.io. You will support the communications strategy, including content creation, sales collateral development, thought leadership, awards strategies, and beyond. Our ideal candidate is professional, responsible and confident with experience in technology, marketing/adtech and/or mobile apps industries. As a communications associate you will perform well under deadlines, adapt and shift as needed, be thoughtful and detail-oriented, be tenacious and solutions-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Managing Start.io’s coverage across industry reporting (G2, IDC, etc).
• Play a key role in the day-to-day activity of drafting content pieces, including PR and sourcing news-jacking opportunities
• Proactively and consistently brainstorm and collaborate with the product, sales, and marketing teams for new ideas and strategies
• Be a strong writer and develop all written forms of communication (collateral, blog posts, byline abstracts, award submissions, speaking engagements, email communications review, etc.)

Requirements

• Exhibits sense of curiosity and continually seeks new ways to learn and improve
• Understanding of mobile ad tech industry and/or mobile app industry
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities across global teams
• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field
• Exceptional copywriting and editing skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Tenacious self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong follow-through
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage dynamic/evolving programs
