Consultant position - Healthcare Industry

Job description
As a Consultant you will be part of multi-national projects in the healthcare industry:
- Developing financial models for biopharmaceutical clients to evaluate and forecast revenue and product uptake within different channels in the US market
- Working on U.S. and international healthcare consulting projects focusing on blood plasma products for U.S. and international biopharmaceutical company clients
- Conducting comprehensive primary and secondary data research to help biopharmaceutical clients identify brand differentiation strategy, including researching drug databases and performing analysis of large prescription data sets
- Assessing and segmenting the size of specialty pharmaceutical markets within distribution channels, patient demographics, and mode of action by respective product within various therapeutic areas, focusing on blood disorders, orphan drug diseases, and auto-immune disorders

- Performing analytics research for biopharmaceutical industry clients, including conjoint analysis, Kano analysis, regression analysis, pricing analysis, market modeling, NPV modeling, and forecasting
- Consulting with KOLs and experts in selected therapeutic areas for scientific knowledge exchange
- Performing statistical analysis of survey results, including obtaining prescription and/or medical claims data as model inputs to understand what products are growing or shrinking in prescription volume over time
- Researching scientific and medical publications to identify Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in a therapeutic area
Your background
Education: Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field
Experience: 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a management consulting, product management, or business development role in the biopharmaceutical industry
Skills: Education or experience background must include: integrating analytical data to create forecasting/financial models for pharmaceutical products; analyzing consumer behavior and ROI of various distribution channels for pharmaceutical products; conducting market research to identify new market segmentation opportunities for pharmaceutical products and to assess risk of proposed re-allocation of resources; analyzing market performance of pharmaceutical products and advising pharmaceutical companies on repositioning strategies; formulating strategic brand plans for pharmaceutical products with a patient-centric focus; domain knowledge expertise of disease profiles and biopharmaceutical products.
