Description
The Forecasting Consultant is an integral member of project teams working closely with management and other team members. We are looking for a driven, committed and energetic individual who will be responsible for building forecast models, working with senior staff on forecasting projects, and clearly presenting forecast models and outputs to internal management and clients. The Forecasting Consultant is also responsible for effectively communicating with every project team member including managers on all matters related to project assignments. In this position, the Forecasting Consultant is expected to multi-task across multiple projects and project types concurrently while maintaining a high degree of quality and accuracy.
Position Responsibilities
  • Work closely with general consultants as well as Trinity’s PMR, Advanced Analytics and Statistics teams to create forecasts that leverage multiple areas of expertise
  • Develop client-ready forecasts and supporting materials independently and clearly present findings
  • Assist in creating and implementing quality control best practices
  • Work on creating best practices and modules to help standardize forecasting across Trinity
  • Drive internal communication to keep all team members in the loop with project status
  • Lead forecast model builds
  • Provide on-site support to clients when applicable
  • Serve as client point of contact
  • Provide ongoing support for existing forecast models
  • Deliver solutions to clients, exercising sound business judgment, proactively following up on tasks as needed and managing tasks through to completion
  • Assist project manager with establishing timelines for internal and external deliverables
  • Support strategic and operational initiatives as assigned
  • Help train junior members of forecasting team as well as assisting with training generalist consultants
This is a Hybrid position based out of Waltham, MA, NYC or Princeton, NJ as ideal
Qualifications
Education: BS or MS in quantitative, business, or other related fields
Work Experience:2-3 years of work experience in forecasting, analytics or related area. Experience/familiarity with life sciences data and forecasting is preferred.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 - $110,000.
In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
