Responsibilities:

• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documents.
• Lead and manage commercial ground-up construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, to develop project plans and specifications.
• Oversee procurement and material management activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and procurement processes.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality standards, safety protocols, and building codes/regulations are met.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.
• Implement and enforce best practices, quality control measures, and safety protocols throughout the construction process.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financials, ensuring cost control and profitability.
• Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing leadership and guidance to project team members.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring critical milestones are achieved and project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial construction, with a focus on K-12 or Higher Education projects.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and enforcing safety protocols.
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire project teams.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering commercial ground-up projects within budget, schedule, and quality parameters.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes/regulations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
