The Opportunity:
The Compliance Investigator reports to the Manager of Compliance and Ethics and is responsible for
supporting the development and operation of an integrated and comprehensive compliance and ethics
program by participating in investigations and handling IntegrityLine reports.
Responsibilities:
  • Reviews/researches policies, regulations, federal and state statutes for compliance and ethics program development and updates.
  • Assists with the collection and reporting of IntegrityLine data to identify trends, gaps, and weaknesses, and preparing analytics.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation is maintained on compliance reviews in shared files.
  • Conducts interviews, gathers and reviews relevant documentation, and prepares investigative reports, action plans, and follow-ups.
  • Assist with reports on the conflict of interest and commitment program.
  • Develops and executes investigative plans.
  • Assist with the development and execution of training materials and website content related to conflicts of interest and commitment and the IntegrityLine/investigations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Assists with the administration of the UCF IntegrityLine.
  • Performs intake of inquiries, and complaints and assesses for appropriate university response.
  • Supports compliance efforts with the conflict of interest and commitment disclosure process to include troubleshooting issues and assisting with follow up and close out.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation and close out of all investigations in shared files and UCF IntegrityLine.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive background in and understanding of conducting internal compliance and ethics investigations.
  • A Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or be willing to obtain certification within the first year of hire.
