Description

The territory for this position will cover the Western side of the state. Candidate should reside in this region.

The Community Relations Rep II is responsible for developing and maintaining new contacts and/or partnerships in the community.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Tracks all marketing engagement in database.
  • Identifies, develops and builds relationships with community organizations, and faith based organizations and other social service agencies; performs activities to enhance presence in the community.
  • Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members and communicate issues to management.
  • Conducts marketing presentations to increase effectiveness in establishing rapport, assessing individual needs, and communicating product/benefit features and differences.
  • Travel is required within the state.
  • Leads and manages strategies within a specific 10 - 12 county territory or business initiative.
  • Acts as liaison with community advocacy groups that impacts target population.
  • Assists members and potential members with benefit and/or enrollments inquiries.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a HS diploma and preferred experience in healthcare, social services, community outreach or sales/marketing environment; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with valid motor vehicle insurance required.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

AD or BA/BS preferred. Experience working with community and/or faith based organizations strongly preferred. Experience working with outlook, excel, teams, and salesforce preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills preferred.
