Cnc Laser Cutting Machine And Brake Machine Operator

Description:
Operates computer-controlled laser cutting machines and press brake machines. Loads programs; loads raw materials onto machine; verifies material alignment; adjusts cutting or bending conditions as needed to meet part specifications; verifies material specifications with sales order and drawing(s); manages raw material and consumable usage in an efficient manner; inspects first article parts per sales order instructions; fills in sales order information as required; ability to solve basic match and machine operation problems; ability to adjust machine to achieve desired tolerance, speeds, etc.; keeps machine and work area clean and tidy; keeps paperwork in order; performs operator-assigned maintenance, as coordinated with the maintenance manager.

Requirements:
Reads shop blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
Uses basic inspection tools correctly and accurately.
Typically stands for 3-4 hours at a time.
Able to lift/load various materials, up to 50 lbs.
Operates standard hand/shop tools and forklift.
Reaches machine controls and necessary parts of machine.
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in an effective manner.
Knowledge in the safe use of all shop equipment.
