Role Summary
MetaPhase Consulting provides the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of the Chief Information Officer (M/CIO) with Project Management Office (PMO) oversight and management support services to include technical expertise as requested for infrastructure and software development projects.

In support of multiple IT projects, MPC is seeking a Cloud Engineer with demonstrated expertise in cloud infrastructure and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Candidates must have a wide depth of IT knowledge to quickly ramp up to understand and implement associated technologies. The ability to be customer-facing and convey technical information to business audiences.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• A minimum of 5 years or more with 3+ years of direct experience in federal IT
• Understanding of cybersecurity standards and frameworks
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required (preference on candidates with an active Interim or Secret clearance and above)
• Deep understanding of networking technology (TCP/IP)
• Scripting / Automation skills (Linux, PowerShell)
• Basic understanding of PKI
• Engineering experience with AWS or Azure including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services
• Experience deploying and orchestrating containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and creating apps that run in App Service Environment (ASE)

Desired

• Technical Architecture Design
• Azure or AWS Certifications
• Federal Government Compliance experience (NIST, FedRAMP) with open systems in SaaS and Cloud PaaS and IaaS environments

Essential Responsibilities

• VSTS Process Flow, Environment Management Plan, Network Topology Diagrams, and Code Migration Process Flow Diagrams
• Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)
• Proof of Concepts and Analysis of Alternatives
• Test Plans and Test Summary reports
• Interface Control Documentation
• Create/review/deliver documentation that includes the following:
  • Interface Control Documentation
  • Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs)
  • VSTS Process Flow, Environment Management Plan, Network Topology Diagrams, and Code Migration Process Flow Diagrams
  • Test Plans and Test Summary reports
  • Proof of Concepts and Analysis of Alternatives

• Perform Gap Analysis of technical requirements and potential solution sets
• Validation of system/design documentation
• Manage/Submit Sprint Reporting in Azure DevOps
• Perform Security and Performance Reporting/Analysis
