POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cloud Services Support team at Milliman GCS is looking to hire a Cloud Administrator. The person in this role will provide the administration and support for the firm’s Cloud Services (DataBricks, AWS, M365, Azure)

PLEASE NOTE: We are seeking candidates who can work in Eastern Time Zone (EST)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Administration, Operation & Maintenance support for Databricks on AWS. Including but not limited to: Manage helpdesk queue, Onboarding new Databricks users, Executing Python and PowerShell scripts, Key management, Performance management, Troubleshoot permissions.
  • Provide audit reporting to support HiTrust certification. Including but not limited to: Physical control checks, Vulnerability scan remediation
  • Administration & Support for M365 services and custom applications. Co-manage helpdesk queue

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Must have previous hands-on experience with M365 administration.
  • Must have User provisioning (from console or code) experience.
  • The ideal candidate must have proficiency in Python scripting language.
  • Must have previous experience with Cluster creation, maintenance, and health checks.
  • The ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years of hands-on system management experience in Databricks on AWS
  • The ideal candidate must have previous experience with provision of S3 instance and maintenance.
  • The ideal candidate must have minimum 5 years of AWS and/or Azure administration experience.
  • Must be able to work independently.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Cloud Administration Certification (s) on Azure or AWS platform.
  • Experience with Data security orchestration.
  • Previous experience with bash, PowerShell, Active Directory.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range is $95,000 to $155,000, depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. This role is based out of the Milliman Seattle office, but candidates can work remotely anywhere in the US.
