Additional responsibilities include:
- Manages MS Outlook folders for customer inquiries and required tasks.
- Preforms quality review of closing documents by reviewing prepared documents, real estate contracts and title requirements.
- Technical data entry of specific order details/information into the database, including preparation of closing statements.
- Handle title review and obtain clearance items as required by the title commitment.
- Monitor closing schedules and volume to manage workload.
- Retrieves files ready for closing to coordinate documents, disburse funds for payments and prepare files for imaging and storage.
- Fields customer inquiries and respond with the vital information, in a timely manner.
- Provides support in the areas of accounting (balancing files, depositing funds, cutting checks for closing).
- This position will report to the Closing Manager for Burnet Title WI.
- Acquire notary commission to assist in closings to notarize customers and verify appropriate execution of documents.
- Responsible for a high level of communication and professionalism while working to prepare closing files for internal and external customers.
- Prepares appropriate documents for closing and sends out to customers.
- Runs daily reports for files ready for closing and for refinance disbursements.
Qualifications:
- Notary Public – (If candidate is hired without a Notary Commission, they will be asked to secure their commission in order to conduct closings).
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
- Licensing – Wisconsin Intermediary License preferred (If a candidate is hired without the license, they will be asked to secure and maintain one).
- Ability to bend/squat and reach on occasion.
- Able to lift items up to approximately 15 pounds.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with a title insurance company or other real estate services company preferred and/or accounting, legal or customer service-related industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook).
- Self-starter and ability to multi-task.
