The Position: We are looking for a Quality Improvement Analyst, who is willing to embrace McKinley’s mission and H.U.M.A.N values. The role of the Quality Process Improvement Specialist is to ensure quality improvement activities at McKinley are managed in accordance with best practice principles.

The salary we’re offering is $64,484 annually depending on experience.

Qualifications


  • Strong Understanding of electronic health records software, and administration management software;
  • Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (Oral, and written)
  • Strong background in process improvement practices (root cause analysis, workflow charts, etc.)
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field;
  • Prior Experience working in child welfare agency preferred.
  • Strong Analytical Ability Required;
  • Master’s degree preferred;
  • Experience with business intelligence software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), reporting tools, SPSS and SPSS software preferred.


Key Responsibilities


  • Partner with program leadership to understands specific workflow issues and ensure they are addressed and/or incorporated in overall process excellence projects.
  • Support the Quality Systems Department in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of key performance indicators and program processes and help develop action plans, including follow up and accountability of implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and measure the benefits of post process implementation to ensure quality, efficiency, and improvement of processes.
  • Lead improvement projects including assessment, planning, and follow up.
  • Help create and implement workflows and policies and procedures in the different programs.
  • Lead the efforts in documenting process improvements and the creations of workflow.
  • Develop project plans and facilitate cross-functional work groups and efforts to ensure projective objectives are achieved
  • Foster an open environment where concerns and opinions can be freely expressed and addressed in effort to proactively focus on the uncertainties and risks involved in any project.
  • Identify process improvement gaps and analyze program needs, procedures, and areas of opportunity.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by helping coordinate, manage and oversee the implementation of quality improvement activities.
  • Continuously evaluate existing processes, procedures, systems and workflows to identify risks, issues, and challenges.
  • Leverage various process improvement methodologies such as root cause analysis, process mapping, and other work to identify areas of improvement and opportunities.
