Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced RN to join our Clinical Services Training Team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide standardized training programs for plan staff to improve quality, control medical costs and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in case, disease, or utilization management; managed care; or medical/behavioral health settings. In addition, we are looking for someone with a strong background in Managed Care Utilization Management, who is passionate about teaching and has experience conducting training in virtual corporate settings. Proficiency in PowerPoint is highly preferred.
As a Clinical Services Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training curriculum for Utilization Management, Case Management, and LTSS staff. You will also evaluate training effectiveness to ensure staff understanding and readiness, and educate staff on Molina standard programs and systems.
In this role, you will work closely with Health Plan leaders to ensure state-specific regulations are included in training materials. You will also be responsible for educating licensed staff regarding proper clinical judgment and approaches to proper decision making.
At Molina, we believe in collaboration and improving member quality of life while controlling costs. As a Trainer, you will train inter-disciplinary teams to collaborate effectively in order to achieve these goals. You will also assist Care Review Clinicians with methods to present cases at multidisciplinary rounds and ensure healthcare services staff understand professional standards of documentation.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to implement new employee orientation for healthcare service staff, provide training for current staff for new programs or key initiatives, and provide training for system implementations and upgrades. You will also reeducate staff when deficiencies in performance are identified.
This position requires 30% travel and is open to qualified RNs residing in the US. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8 - 5.
