Clinical Research Project Manager - Nih

Position is estimated to support a flexible work arrangement with on-site work performed up to 2 days/week in Bethesda, MD.

TASKS

(1) Work collaboratively with the National Institute on Aging’s Office of Behavioral and Social Clinical Trials to ensure all clinical trials are appropriately tracked and all clinical trial requirements are met

(2) Manage complex projects related to aging research across the Artificial Intelligence and Technology Collaboratory, Edward R. Roybal Centers for Translational Research in the Behavioral and Social Sciences of Aging, and IMPACT Collaboratory programs

(3) Communicate project updates, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders across the Artificial Intelligence and Technology Collaboratory, Roybal, and IMPACT programs

(4) Prepare project documents and materials and assist staff to coordinate project management activities and meetings

(5) Prepare project dashboards and summaries as well as milestone status and updates

(6) Prepare progress reports, summaries, descriptions, and other materials to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

(7) Assist with managing financial aspects include monitoring budget and completing appropriate financial requests and accounting documentation

(8) Establish and review project metrics to measure and evaluate project status and performance.

(9) Coordinate with other project managers to identify and share project best practices and common approaches and reports

REQUIREMENTS

(1) Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Psychology, Biology, or related discipline

(2) Minimum of 2 years of experience guiding and managing complex projects; project management certification (PMP or equivalent) preferred

(3) Experience with meeting coordination, meeting minutes, reports, budgets, and data analysis
