The Clinical Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Education and work alongside multiple Unit Nurse Managers and Directors while implementing educational programs. The Nurse Educator will work with Registered Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants in their assigned units.
The Clinical Nurse Educator will be heavily involved in the implementation and management of the New Graduate Registered Nurse Program. The New Graduate Registered Nurse Program is a structured, evidenced-based program designed to address the challenges faced by new Registered Nurses as they begin their professional careers. You will lead a variety of training activities and ensure core competencies are completed. The Nurse Educator will function as a resource throughout the hospital and will promote professional development of the nurses in their speciality.
