Clinic Assistant Jobs

The Clinic Assistant provides support to the Gastroenterology (GI) clinical team by performing non-clinical and administrative tasks that are critical to providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities can include : assisting with incoming calls, processing patient records and medication authorizations, hospital follow-ups and patient scheduling, cleaning rooms on high volume patient days, and participating in process improvement projects. To be successful in this role you will need: flexibility to cover at all sites, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service skills, be detail oriented and have working knowledge of computers and basic software programs. Schedule is full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00a to 5:00p.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Two years' experience in a health care environment providing direct administrative patient care strongly preferred.
• Epic EHR experience preferred.

Pay Range

$17.28 - $24.19

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
