About The Role
The purpose of this position is to lead the achievement of strategic goals and results for a client or set of clients in the area of real estate strategy within a geographic area (e.g. National, Region, and/or Global).
What You’ll Do
  • Have accountability for the quality and service delivery of financial analysis across the team’s accounts, which includes working with the Account Leads, Directors, and Transaction Managers to complete required cash and P&L financial modeling.
  • Work with and learn from existing analytic team leadership to understand methods, tools and interpretations of Landlord debt structures, and Landlord Profiling to support transaction managers communication strategies and identify our clients risk exposure. Additionally, work with and learn from existing analytic team leadership on how they approach building purchase and sale custom built financial modeling.
  • Be responsible for and developing any of the financial analysts on the team
  • Help the team evaluate additional delivery options (cost, quality, process, turn times, results, requirements) if volumes significantly increase due to new account wins, which could include additional Analysts, Financial Consulting Group support or other solutions
  • Lead the Financial Analysis Function for the team, which includes elevating the best tools, processes, templates, talent, and solutions to meet our clients’ diverse needs
  • Working with clients and joining client calls to discuss Financial Analysis
What You’ll Need
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most critical issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to empower and communicate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Urban Studies, or related program or MBA preferred. Minimum of 8 years of business consulting and real estate experience is required.
  • Real estate license (where required by state law). Professional certification, professional designations (e.g. BCCR, CCIM, CPM, MAI) and/or graduate level training in commercial real estate is desirable.
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and take care of a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with validated experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
  • Develops and implements financial policies and procedures. Approves and is responsible for department budget.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite Products. Highly collaborative in a team environment. Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Client Strategy and Consulting Director position is $110,000 annually [or $52.88 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Client Strategy and Consulting Director position is $185,000 annually [or $88.94 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
