Client Onboarding Specialist Jobs

Our Client, a Global Investment Bank, is seeking an Client Onboarding Specialist in their New York, NY location.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the onboarding platform by updating it with new and revised client information as necessary.
• Resolve day-to-day issues that arise during the onboarding process, escalating complex matters to the appropriate departments and team members for resolution.
• Adhere to AML controls, including conducting reviews of high-risk customers, performing PEP screenings, and following standard KYC/AML policies.
• Facilitate the efficient and compliant regulatory onboarding of clients within the US Global Banking and Markets segment, prioritizing client satisfaction.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of the Bank's and the Division's business strategies and policies, risk management practices and methodologies, product offerings, financial markets, financial instruments, regulatory requirements, and Bank Office processes.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement new procedures and regulations, surpassing internal and external audit standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess 2-3+ years of experience working as a regulatory onboarding analyst or in a comparable role.
• Demonstrate expertise and experience with US FINCEN and US Patriot Act regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, project management, and planning skills.
• Have 1-2+ years of experience in banking and/or capital markets business, with a strong willingness to further expand knowledge and skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and tight time frames.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside of traditional business hours.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish is a desirable skill.
• Familiarity with Fixed Income and Equity markets is an asset.
