Civil Litigation Attorney Jobs

An established business defense firm in California is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney with extensive experience in employment law, contract disputes, personal injury matters, and unlawful detainer actions.

This is a contract position which allows candidates the flexibility of working from home or coming into the office while making their own schedule.

Attorney must be committed to fighting for and defending client’s interests above all else. The firm seeks an attorney who can manage an independent caseload. Attorney will handle cases from inception through trial if need be. This is not a task based position.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing case facts to determine the most effective and efficient defense

- Drafting court pleadings and motions

- Preparing and responding to written discovery

- Performing depositions, attending hearings, CMC, mediations, etc.

- Negotiating settlements

Requirements

- Seasoned attorney with at least three years of litigation experience

- Analytical ability with a strong writing style

- Must be admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $130.00 per hour
