At Catalight and the Family of Companies (FoC), we are advancing towards a modern 21st Century way of working. Our People & Performance (P&P) team has kicked off a broad scale transformation initiative to mature and scale our function, team structure, workflows, technologies, and internal operations to meet our internal client’s needs of today and the future.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team to lead our project management efforts in support of our P&P Transformation. In addition, as our first PM operating at the function-level, this role will have the opportunity to help us build, optimize, and drive adoption of new ways of internally operating, collaborating, and celebrating to be a high performing team. This role will report to our VP, People & Performance and will partner closely across our P&P team and cross-functionally. Someone who thrives in creating order, designing delightful workflows, and driving complex projects to optimal impact will be most successful in this critical role.

Project Management of Key P&P Initiatives

  • Partner with VP, P&P and other stakeholders to drive communication for project; including the development of change management strategy, education and communication materials for different audiences and mediums.
  • Provide guidance to project team on performance and productivity issues.
  • Support VP, P&P through expert project management & leadership to highly visible, sensitive and multi-faceted projects – such as the P&P Transformation Initiative.
  • Implement project plans by tracking action items, communicating updates, updating project boards, conducting design and implementation reviews, researching, resolving issues, responding to inquiries, and coordinating/assigning deliverables with internal stakeholders to ensure the project is delivered with quality while on schedule and budget.
  • Tactical project administration – meeting notetaking, communicating summaries & action items, calendaring collaboration meetings, follow-up with key stakeholders, etc.
  • Continuously monitor for risks, address/overcome barriers to success. Escalates opportunities & issues as necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Provide project leadership and education of project management best practices to cross-functional teams.
  • Initial Project - P&P Transformation Initiative (primary focus)


P&P Internal Operations, Collaboration, Optimizations

  • Manage the P&P annual calendar & roadmap - act in a P&P scrum-master-esque role to lead quarter/monthly/bi-weekly roadmap & sprint reviews. Track important dates for P&P key initiatives, project deadlines, flag risks, connect directly with P&P function leads to track momentum
  • Project manage & lead our P&P operational road mapping, build & manage structures to help us capacity plan more effectively, execute to manage our Jira sprint planning boards (NNOMR) in partnership with P&P Leads.
  • Surface complex cross-functional opportunities to CPWO, VP, and P&P Leads for support in resolution & action planning as needed
  • Partner w/ P&P Leaders to build, manage, optimize systems & processes to support strategic and operational alignment across the function/teams
  • Identify opportunities to create new systems & processes for more effective P&P alignment, planning, communication, collaboration, execution to deliver against our goals.
  • P&P cross-team workflow optimizations – act as an internal consultant to surface strengths, gaps, opportunities and provide P&P leaders w/ recommendations for improvements. Lead projects to drive execution of these P&P internal improvements


P&P Team Communication, Connection, Recognition

  • P&P Team Building/Engagement/Recognition – partner w/ P&P team to develop approaches & activities, plan & project manage
  • Identify and build new pathways to strengthen cross-team communication, connection, recognition, and fun
  • Monthly All P&P Team Meetings – project manage, partner with CPWO & P&P leads to curate & gather content, prep presenters, record & share


P&P Comms Calendar

  • Partner with VP, P&P and P&P Leads to develop, implement, and manage a rolling 12-month P&P communication calendar to educate and inform our FoC employees of important P&P information, events, and updates. (ex. open enrollment dates, performance review timing, new benefits offerings, wellbeing tips, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Marcom (our Marketing & Communications function), JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team), our COO office, and other P&P and cross-functional stakeholders to integrate P&P comms into existing employee communications channels.


Light Operational Support for VP, P&P – [if there’s capacity]

  • P&P budget review, contracts – first review of monthly budget & contracts up for renewal. Flag concerns, connect with P&P leads for additional information, etc.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ). The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General.


US Remote with PST core business hours (9:00-5:00p)
