Job Overview:
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Chief of Staff to join the Orthopedic Team at our Honolulu hospital.
We are a highly specialized pediatric surgical hospital located in Honolulu, Hawaii. Shriners Children's is one of the world’s preeminent hospitals for the treatment of children with orthopedic conditions. All members of our team are dedicated to providing the highest quality care in a family-centered environment.
We have a collaborative approach to patient care and treatment. A multidisciplinary team includes skilled pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, nurse practitioners, occupational and physical therapists, nutritionists, social workers, pharmacist, child life specialist, and orthotists and prosthetists that work in concert to optimize the functional outcomes of our patients. All of these elements are part of the care of our patients along with emotional support.
Responsibilities:
The Chief of Staff will provide clinical leadership in education, research and management of physicians, practitioners, and hospital scheduling.
Qualifications:
Board Certified MD with residency in pediatric orthopaedic surgery required. 10 years of experience in a clinical leadership role required. Hawaii medical license required. Current full Covid vaccination status required
