About The Role:
This critical, trusted leadership role is the strategic right-hand person to the CTO to drive strategic planning, support, and direct change management throughout the CTO organization, essential to the successful delivery of enterprise-wide global technology strategy. We are looking for someone who will unleash their significant talents for program management, mobilizing cross functional teams, delivering solutions for scale and data-driven decision making to refine, launch and take to market solutions that accelerate our customers’ success. Your passion, technical and business depth, and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills will inspire our teams and rapidly establish trust amongst a diverse set of stakeholders and customers.
This Is What You’ll Do:
Strategy
  • Be a trusted advisor and brainstorming partner to the CTO and Tech leadership team
  • Provide independent, informed, unbiased insight including on the ground feedback
  • Negotiate with a genuine give-and-take approach, where parties act as true peers and decisions are shared
  • Set ambitious but realistic goals for self and team, geared to organizational objectives
  • Make connections across the enterprise that others may not see
  • Help strategic ideas take root by providing early facilitation until a more formal project is established
  • Lead and guide change throughout the technology organization
  • Partner with Finance on management of the Technology budget and ensure that we meet our financial targets
  • Drive creation and ongoing evolution of a Technology strategy tied to business strategy by working with technology leadership team and other stakeholders
  • Drive urgency and focus to address pressing business issues that need immediate attention
Program Management:
  • Drive shorter delivery cycles, including faster time to market
  • Ensure the successful migration of new and existing global services onto new platforms
  • Reduce project risk and on-time delivery of projects
  • Effectively collaborate with other portfolio management teams and other leaders to influence key activities and decision-making that affect the technology strategy and global platform build & adoption
  • Influence the training needs of the organization
  • Influence adherence to standards and best practices
  • Lead a continuous improvement cycle for the Engagement Model including quarterly PI Planning inclusive of our Portfolio Stakeholders/Partners to drive alignment around enterprise level priorities
  • Optimize risk associated with the discipline or process
  • Facilitate engagement with Product and Engineering leadership, ensuring strategic alignment, clear understanding of program goals and desired outcomes via a well-documented and well communicated program approach
  • Work closely with a variety of internal clients and partners within all functional areas of the business to ensure a path for innovation and value realization
  • Drive continuous improvement and on-going development of the Strategy and Planning team by leading process/tool/pattern/framework maturity
  • Lead a group of technical program managers across technology organization.
  • Improve quality of deliverables as a result of being built on standards
  • Ensure the execution of strong stakeholder Communications and Change Management plans across the enterprise, leveraging synergies and identifying gaps.
  • Define a set of Program Management standards based on a mix of best practices and the needs of the organization
  • Develop consistency in program management artifacts, metrics, Jira usage including dashboards to enable clear and precise articulation of progress to teams and to our leadership
This Is What We're Looking For:
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills, including a track record developing credibility with and supporting senior managers on the effective internal communication of major decisions and emerging strategic issues
  • Experience driving large scale change management & mind-set shift
  • Experience planning & executing regular townhalls and off-sites
  • Strong understanding of project and portfolio management disciplines, Agile, governance processes, and executive reporting
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Ability to navigate and address conflict
  • 10 -15+ years of Delivery & technical program management experience at a leadership level preferably in a technology organization
  • Very comfortable presenting to CEO & other executives and driving meaning full conversations at multiple levels of organization
  • Strong financial analysis and budget planning and management experience and skills
  • A good understanding of the current diversity agenda and its relationship to internal
  • A track record in leading and delivering complex large-scale projects and partnerships, often managing a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Energetic and upbeat “can do” attitude
  • Strong understanding of the agile software development lifecycle
The pay range for this position is $180,000 to $230,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive bonus plan. A full range of benefits including but not limited to medical, financial, unlimited sick time, 22 days’ vacation annually (for FT workers; prorated 1st year of employment), parental leave and other benefits are also provided.
