The Chief Financial Officer (CFOs) must have strong analytical, strategic planning and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the chief executive officer, board members and other executive leadership team members. This person will lead the strategic vision and implementations; specifically analyzing and prioritizing financial modeling to optimize managing customer acquisition cost as we scale engineering products, implementations, and broad organizational growth. This position will manage the FP&A team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)


You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience in finance.
  • Strong relationships with venture capital investor networks and ability to leverage them.
  • Strategic level ability / experience at high growth startups, preferably SaaS or fintech.
  • Demonstrated career growth in positions of increasing responsibility within a strategic finance or accounting department, such as director of finance, director of accounting or controller.
  • A unique ability to partner with an execution oriented CEO and executive leadership team.
  • An analytical eye and directness on what we should and should not be spending money on.


You Will:

  • Recommend improvements to ensure the integrity of a company’s financial information.
  • Direct our accounting policies, procedures and enhance internal controls.
  • Unlock opportunities to provide analytical and financial support to all business functions.
  • Oversee the relationship with independent auditors.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) on optimal technology decisions.
  • Play a lead role in quarterly board meetings; earn the confidence and respect of investors and the board.
  • Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions.
  • Conduct a thorough review & understanding of customer acquisition costs (CAC).
  • Lead deep analysis and provide strong recommendations on near and short term spending; financial modeling.
