Chemical Technician Jobs

Position located in Bedford, MA

Responsibilities of the Chemical Technician:

• Follow SOPs and work in a laboratory environment.
• Weigh powders, mix inks, perform chemical/slurry and solvent-based operations, stamping electrodes, stacking cells, welding tabs, filling electrolytes, sealing cells and preparing cells for testing.
• Will work with dry powders and chemicals for lithium ion battery production.

Requirements of the Chemical Technician:

• Able to work in a dry room environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Able to track components/inventory during production activities and record relevant information in production logs.
• AS Degree preferred and 2+ years experience working with ink and/or chemicals including weighing, cleaning equipment, processing and performing cell assembly tasks.
