Job Details

Our manufacturing company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, vendor management, and manufacturing engineering to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve project management processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project success, and develop contingency plans as needed.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and communicate progress to all stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure that all products are developed in accordance with the product life cycle, and that they meet all regulatory and safety requirements.
• Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and ensuring that vendors meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong vendor management skills, with experience negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships
• Experience with product development and the product life cycle
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• PMP certification desired
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks to project success
• Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to completion
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
• 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and project engineering
• BS or higher in Engineering
