About the Team
The Change Management team, part of Enterprise Portfolio and Program Office, is an impactful team of practitioners and thought leaders who work closely with program management and business teams to drive strategic transformation at Workday.
About the Role
If you are passionate about the people side of change and believe that the best experiences are those delivered together as a team, we want to talk to you! This role requires knowledge of all things change management and a desire to coach and guide cross-functional colleagues. You will partner with business leaders, program managers, other change managers, and functional communications and enablement teams to assess change and develop plans that lead to change adoption. The programs are large and highly cross-functional, directly support the most important priorities for the company, and include elements of change affecting business processes, core technologies, mindset shifts, job roles, organizational design, job roles, and more.
This highly visible role will have extensive interaction across all levels and functions within Workday. We are looking for a leader who understands the value of structure while balancing the need for agility and innovation. Using change management methodologies, this role will be responsible for change assessments, impact and gap analysis, communication and training plans, people-centered risk mitigation, and delivering measurable change adoption. This is an individual contributor role that will direct the work of cross-functional teams to build and implement the plans, and must be able to lead by influence.
The role also will help to mature and incrementally improve the change management practice at Workday. This will involve working with the team to evolve frameworks, standards and templates, as well as evangelize and advise on the discipline of change management across the company.
About You
As a change manager you will:
Partner with program and business leaders to understand changes and critical dependencies, and help form and lead cross-functional change teams for assigned programs. Build comprehensive change strategies, plans and supporting materials. Define adoption metrics. Identify people-centered risks and issues and develop mitigation plans. Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.
