The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist, plans and conducts individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities in one of our many contracted facilities (long term care, long term acute care, skilled nursing facility, hospitals). Certified Occupational Therapists teach patients skills/techniques that restore, reinforce, and enhance performance essential for adaption and productivity; diminishes or corrects disorders; and promotes and maintains health.
