We're looking for candidates with hotel experience for a couple of positions we have an open position for Assistant Banquet supervisor and banquet Capetian
Position Description.A position in Restaurant/bar work in hotels and independently supervise the Banquet staff with the Banquet director and other captains for the functions to ensure the high-quality execution of large receptions and events-involving food service; he or she also serves as a liaison between the FOH service staff and the kitchen staff and otherwise assists in management operations.
This position is hourly
Essential Duties And Responsibilities In Management

• Manages food materials, inventory, and all operating materials.
• Adheres to and enforces standards for hygiene and grooming.
• Delegates duties to team members for each event.
• Adheres to all health and safety regulations.
• Manages transfers and stock inventory.
• Helps validate customers’ IDs and monitors all beverage consumption to address severe intoxication.
• Reviews seating diagrams for acceptability and accuracy.
• Inspect the uniforms of all floor staff before the event to ensure propriety.
• Resolves guests’ concerns, inquiries, and complaints.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the banquet floor, the kitchen, and the storage areas.
• Slices garnish and prepares decorative arrangements.
• Monitors food service to limit food wastage or contamination.
• Maintains detailed reports for management and develops an accurate bill for service.
• Enforces all employer rules and food service regulations.
• Works as a bartender or server, when necessary.
• Enforces an atmosphere of culture and refinement.
• Coordinates the quality of food service between cooking staff and floor staff.

• Possesses extensive knowledge of food preparation and service.
• Has the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in print.
• Demonstrates the ability to solve problems and delegate tasks.
• Demonstrates friendliness, courtesy, and respect, especially when serving others.
• Has the stamina to handle heavy objects, prolonged periods of standing, and other moderately strenuous activities.
