Caregiver - Sunshine Assisted Living

CiminoCare is looking to add to their professional team of Caregivers at Sunshine Assisted Living. Our Administrator leads the team in creating a calm, supportive and compassionate living environment for our residents, their families and staff. Available Shifts: 10pm-6am (1 hour premium pay), 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm About the Positions Caregivers work together to provide person centered care for our residents. Who Should Apply? Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We are looking for Caregivers who are able to provide personal care and attending to residents who require assistance with daily tasks. Some of these tasks include dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting helps, incontinence care, mobility and transfers. Must be able to stay calm under pressure and be able to make decisions consistent with policies, procedures and licensing requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Some of the responsibilities of a Caregiver include: Assist with hygiene and ensure each resident looks clean and presentable throughout the day. Keep internal charts current, know of each resident's needs, and report all observed physical and emotional changes in residents to the Shift Manager. Observe Resident's Rights, as posted within the facility. Promptly respond to resident calls for assistance. Maintain a cooperative and cheerful attitude when relating to residents or their guests. Keep resident's rooms in proper order throughout the day, including tidying rooms, making beds, and putting clothes away. Assist residents by providing for their comfort, safety & enjoyment. The starting pay range is $16.25 - $17.50 per hour, with an extra hour of premium pay per NOC shift worked. The person selected for this position must be eighteen (18) years or older.
