The Habilitation Technician is responsible for providing one-on-one services to consumers and assisting in the implementation of consumer goals as outlined within the client’s support plan.

Responsibilities

• Accurately notes consumer responses and results to staff; interventions and assessmentvia properdocumentation
• Instructs and reinforces target goal outcomes according toconsumer
• Performs other duties asassigned/necessary
• Assists in the development of consumer treatment plan andgoals
• Assists in the implementation of written goals from the treatmentplan
• Maintains appropriate professionalconduct

Qualifications

• Training treatment plan
• TBscreening
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals(including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills;proficiency in the English language may berequired
• High school diploma or GEDpreferred
• Computer proficiency required
• Active driver’s license in the event transportation is taking place ( asapplicable)
• CPR/BCLS certificationrequired
• Must be at least 18 years ofage
