Job Description
Job title: CAP - Preceptor-ED
Location: Puyallup, WA
Duration: 29 weeks contract with possible extension
Schedule: 3x12hrs Days, Shift Days go to nights last 6 weeks
Nature of the Job: Onsite
Position Summary
Patient Types: Pediatric and Adult Patients; Level III
Mandatory Skills: IV skills, Trauma, Pediatrics, Stroke. STEMI, Chest tubes, Central lines, arterial lines, CVP monitoring, Cardiac
Nursing Reading and Interpreting Strips: Yes, and centralized monitoring
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4
Tech to Patient Ratio: 1:8
Support Staff: RT, Pharmacist, Stroke and Trauma coordinators
EMR: Epic Required
Certificates, Licenses Required
Active WA License
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB
