Calibration Technician Jobs

The Position:Calibration Technician – This position is tasked with calibrating a wide variety of electronic test and measurement equipment. Equipment categories range from EMC, power supplies and loads, communications, electrical, NDT, environmental and general purposes test and measurement equipment.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ calibration experience in a commercial lab preferred
• TMDE/PMEL certified or Associates degree in Electronic Technologies
• Proficient use in MET/TEAM and MUDCATS software
• Strong knowledge of electronic theory

Responsibilities:

• Identifies out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Identifies and correct measurement errors.
• Develops calibration procedures and methods.
• Prepares calibration reports and certificates.
• Performs maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Ensures equipment meets manufacturer specifications and is cosmetically in good condition.
• Calibrates a wide variety of test and measurement equipment.
• Performs uncertainty evaluation and measurements.
